I made sure I lived in a more protected area and hurricane proofed my house. What did the others do to protect themselves? A fact of life living in a hurricane zone is you have to protect your home!! Hurricane straps holding down the roof.
Cat5 windows.
Concrete block building.
A tornado could damage it but not a hurricane!!
